Hi, I recently had intercourse and bled after it. The second time I did not bleed, but 3 days later I am suddenly bleeding and it stings a little. What could this be?

This sounds difficult and I’m glad you are pursuing support in terms of figuring out what is going on for you. 

There are many reasons why some bleeding and stinging could happen during and after sexual activity. Bleeding can be a result of an STI, but it could also be completely unrelated to an STI. The only way to know for sure what is going on in your situation is to get a comprehensive assessment including STBBI testing. If you do find you are bleeding excessively, seeking urgent care is a good idea.
