Welcome to Sex Friendly Manitoba, we’re so glad you found us! This is a service designed to provide people in Manitoba with accurate, up-to-date information about sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs for short).
There are a few ways to access information:
- If you need help now with a time sensitive issue or need to speak to a person to get the information you are after you can click on I Need Help Now. This will provide some local resources that you can access quickly to resolve the issue at hand.
- If you are looking for online information feel free browse our posts! These posts are answers to questions that have been submitted to us. You can use the blue SEARCH button to find topics or use the tags feature at the side or at the end of each reply to find other answers on the same topic. For example, if your question is about HIV testing, type HIV testing into the search field, or click on the testing tag or the HIV tag.
- If you don’t see your question after a search, then send us that question by clicking the green ASK button. When you send an anonymous question to us, a Nine Circles Health Educator will work on composing an answer to post publicly on this site. Please note that we can only answer questions related to STBBIs, we are not able to provide information on broader aspects of sexuality and sexual health (like birth control, relationships, etc.).
