I feel I might be having an STI, but I am scared to go to the clinic because of the COVID-19 situation. Is there any way I can reach out to testing at Nine Circles?

The current pandemic has changed access to some services at Nine Circles in order to reduce the community spread of COVID-19.

We encourage people to call (204)940-6000 to book an in-person appointment with a Nine Circles STI Testing Nurse. Drop-in testing is still available Wednesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

All clients will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms as you enter the building. We have adapted how people are moving through the building to support physical distancing, and staff will assist you with this upon arrival to our building. To maintain physical distancing, clients may be asked to wait outside until space becomes available in the clinic. The Nine Circles website will be updated as services or recommendations change.

If you normally get tested at a different clinic or a health care provider, we recommend you phone to see if their procedures have changed recently.

While you are planning your next steps, it is recommended that you practice safer sex to prevent STIs. The NYC Health Department, Health Initiative for Men, and The Sex Information and Education Council of Canada have some helpful tip sheets about sex and preventing the community spread of COVID-19.
