Great to hear you got tested for sexually transmitted infections, now to await the results.
Depending on the type of test(s) and where you got it done, it generally takes up to 2-3 weeks for results to get back to the testing clinician from the lab. (Sometimes it’s a little quicker, sometimes it needs a little more time.) Feel free to ask the clinician what they expect in terms of wait time when you’re in the testing appointment, and also how they will follow up with you about the results.
